Tougher than Murph?!

Hard to say one HERO WOD is tougher than another... IF/When we do, we NEVER mean any disrespect these Hero's that have served our country!  They are all TRUE Heros of our country...  Performing a WOD in their name is always an honor...

The newest Hero WOD...BULL... was the most grueling by far...
 2 Rounds For Time:
   200 Double Unders (600 Singles)
   50 Overhead Squats (135#)
   50 Pull Ups
   1 Mile Run

U.S. Marine Corps Captain Brandon "Bull" Barrett, 27, of Marion, Indiana, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, was killed on May 5, 2010, while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Modify as needed...But understand the Overhead Squats NEED to be heavy...

12 Days of Christmas...

Special thanks goes out to Andy Gallego (Crossfit Takeover) & Chris Russell (Crossfit Jax) for their work on this WOD...

1 ~ 150m Run
2 ~ Push Ups*
3 ~ Burpees*
4 ~ Pull Ups
5 ~ Knees 2 Elbows
6 ~ KB Swing (55/35#)
7 ~ Deadlift**
8 ~ Hang Power Clean**
9 ~ Push Press**
10 ~ Front Squat**
11 ~ Thruster**
12 ~ Overhead Squat**

This will be performed just like the song is sung (i.e. 1 run, then 2 Push Ups & 1 Run, then 3 Burpees & 2 Push Ups & 1 Run...etc)
* ~ Push Ups require "hands-off" @ bottom, as will the Burpees (CFJAX Style)
** ~ Barbell exercises should ALL be performed with the same weight of either 95#/75# (scale as needed)

We, in Rapids, have been doing a different "12 Days" WOD with our athletes for three years just before Christmas... The athletes started asking about the WOD a few weeks ago.

Trina's Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday to one of our very own and original TEAM Memebers ~ Trina Sydorowicz!

We will be looking into a GREAT Saturday WOD to celebrate her birthday...Since she is a BIG FAN of Murph...it could get pulled from the hopper!  Fun Times...

It will more than likely be something else...as the birthday girl gets to have one vote of rejection...Stay posted!

BTW ~ today's WOD (Whitten) was awful tough...I was seeing stars the whole day!
Bert and Britt are fighting over a called cheat...Which is a no-no among team members...even if it happens, if the cheating party can live with themself ~ so be it!

Death in December

On Saturday, Dec. 11th ... TEAM ANYthing Once will be hosting "Death in December"!

We will be performing 3 different WOD's and have a good old fashion competition.  Warm-Up will be between 9-10am... First Group will go at 10am...Bring outdoor stuff and swim suits as well as any normal gym gear to workout in...
