It is so important to constantly challenge ourselves physically. We are people wanting to influence each other and others we meet along the way.
This is where we can get workouts for the day, track your times, pr's, ask and reply to questions and comments.

This is also where we will share what events we are participating in and opening them up to the rest of the team to take part in.

Sunday Catch-Up

Got to talking with some great people last night that I haven't seen in a long while and they had such awesome experiences to tell me about- Vermont's Covered Bridge Half Marathon, San Diego's Rock n Roll Half, my cousin has been trying out crossfit a bit and she REALLY likes it, ran her first half this past fall... so I was telling them about us, our group, how there are things we may want to do and all you need sometimes is a few people to do it with you to make the experience that much better! I told them about posting what you are doing for workouts, pr's, first handstand push up, and incorporating new things, like the gymnastics workouts- Katy said she is loving the handstand into a forward roll!!- OR finding something you feel passionate about doing; road races, tris, run for a cure and letting others know.. they loved it!
I thought a bit about how much gets going on in everyone's lives and how proximity plays a role on how much you really get to be with others... Sue lives in northwestern Wisconsin and Bre is heading to Sicily but what we all share is that desire to try new things and be active when we think about the 'bucketlist' we write up for ourselves.. Sue said a Mud/Warrior Run was on her 'bucketlist'- thought that was pretty neat!

Wanted to take the opportunity on a SUNDAY post since most of you are watching the Packer game to remind you to hopefully, find and make the time to let others know what you're up to, if you're liking the workouts being posted, if you have signed up for the climb or a run make sure you are commenting so we can give you a 'highfive', and if you find other activities that you JUST HAVE TO TRY- let us all know!!

    Please use the comments to post about ANYthing that is going on in your life that you feel good about... I will post our WOD, because that is what we start our day out with...and I am no deep thinking blogger-type... Val is WAY better at that.

    If you do not do our WOD, but do something else for a workout...post about it...If you need motivation, help, support in ANYthing...Post it!

    As Val stated, "proximity plays a role on how much you really get to be with others"...This site was designed to keep that "proximity" a bit closer!
