It is so important to constantly challenge ourselves physically. We are people wanting to influence each other and others we meet along the way.
This is where we can get workouts for the day, track your times, pr's, ask and reply to questions and comments.

This is also where we will share what events we are participating in and opening them up to the rest of the team to take part in.

Professional Development

Every AM there is a group that gets together!
This is professional development at its finest!
"Iron sharpens Iron!"

These people ALWAYS inspire, persevere, problem solve and make each others lives, classrooms and communities better! They are acquiring skills, knowledge for both personal development and professional advancement. There are a wide variety of informal learning opportunities that take place at a variaty of times. It may be before, during or after the workout they do, but everyone contributes in some way. What they do EVERY morning is both intensive and collaborative and it prepares them both personally and professionally.
I get so much more than a workout from our morning workout...I come a way a better person/teacher!

Val & I have Battle of the Ball & Chain tomorrow in Kenosha...So we took it a bit easier!

Thus...I forgot to get times from everyone (sorry)...It was great just watching the intensity and work!
Feidt and JB were awesome at the AMRAP vs. each other...competition brings out the best in us. Especially when it is not us and you can just cheer ;-)

Watch the #AOWR tweets for some result tomorrow...
Val is sure to rock her half of the Ball & Chain...

The Possibility..

... it is something that accompanies the new year.  The possibility to create, find, make, decide, build, change, gather, challenge, accept... the idea that you can start again, in a way, begin again.
I have been looking around, and found this.
The Three Simple Rules in Life
the rules are theirs, the comments we developed.. feel free to interpret them as it fits for yourself

1. If you do not go after what you want, you will never have it.
how true is this.
I think of this constantly and struggle between going after it and whether or not it is my place to take those steps... the more complex the situation, the bigger the struggle.
But to begin, we can not wait for another to think of us.  When we know what we want, we must try for the possibility of having it.

2. If you do not ask, the answer will always be no.
what a simple concept.

3. If you do not step forward, you will always be in the same place.
to challenge the contentment of where we are at for where we could be.
I think of the saying 'the grass is always greener' but I don't see this rule referring to that statement.  I see this being for those of us who have lost the ambition to challenge ourselves both intellectually and physically.  Our bodies & minds were never meant to have a means to an end but to relish in attempting to question what it is we know, what it is we may think we are capable and then proving ourselves wrong with continued enlightenment and energy.

Keep faith.  Faith is the art of holding on to yourself no matter what your mood or circumstance. C.S.Lewis
Faith will encourage your ambition to go after what you want, your voice to ask, and your feet to step forward.
The difference between who you are and who you want to be can begin with these three simple rules in life.... it is what we do that will help us become who we want to be.

2014 to many is just another year.... Don't make it just another year for you.
Reflect.  Find peace in letting go of 2013 and lather in the excitement of what 2014 will hold.
Make it beautiful, not just in your own life but in the life you share with others.

The ethos of ANYthing Once is to embrace the courage to attempt anything once.... where will your courage take you in 2014???

Where do you see yourself in ONE YEAR?

Where do you see yourself in 5 YEARS?

This is not about a New Years Resolution! This is about YOU / YOUR LIFE / WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOURSELF & HOW YOU CAN AFFECT THOSE AROUND YOU!
Name one goal/thing you want...Post to comments...Put it "out there"...
Do not just "think" what you want, state it. State it to people that will encourage and help you achieve. Let us help you!!! A.O. is here to make every one's life better...more complete!
