Last Day...

Well...this is the last day of 2015...
What did you accomplish in 2015? Was it a productive year for you?
If so, why? If not, why not? Who do you think controls your productivity?!?!
Just make sure to look back over the year...that is a long time...and see the positives and negatives that you had, then make your resolutions (or just this next years plans). Life happens...just make sure it is what you want to be happening! If it is not what you want...CHANGE IT!

As you start to think about the new year and your goals for it, keep this in mind:
Make EVERYDAY count towards bettering ourselves and the people we care about! It is up to YOU to make the BEST of all the situations you end up in...Focus on just ONE day at a time! Some days you will get a lot done, others, not so much...just keep moving forward...keep being positive and make 2016 the best yet!

Another good turnout in the wt room... I did not get all the names and weights of everyone, but it was a GREAT day for most of them!!!
Working on Split-Jerks...they are picking up athletic movements well... This group is coachable, and will make something of themselves!!! They truly embrace the challenges and really work on their form...function & strength. Best of all, they are competitive (always wanting to get better) & yet extremely encouraging of each other.

30-Day Goals... Small, manageable stuff that you can stay passionate/excited/motivated about for the short-term! If you are not getting up everyday, excited about something...you are missing the point of living!

PR Day...

Just not the way I expected it! Oh well...that is the way things go!

I was just jacked to see SNATCH... I knew Oz was going to PR today with his...just knew it! It was a perfect set-up... Well...when everything seems perfect, that is when all heck can break loose and you have to trust & just do! Accept the results and don't get hung up on things... KNOW that what you are doing is correct and right and roll with the results... Let's face it ~ someone else is incharge.

We can think WE are in charge...but we are not!

I was not sure that I could get the 145#, but thought if I make it thru 3 rnds...try to "gut it out" and get those last two rounds!
Then...I totally lost it... I did the 5 Rnd workout for 3 rnds...never looked after I started and it just got in my head that it was for 3 rnds... Dang it!

Baby Tonn then chose to stay by Mom rather than coming over to help us out... In hindsight the weight may have been a bit too much for Baby and we were not sure about the form either. But it said a group of three...so in true TEAM fashion, Ethan & I got the work done without any worries... We know Baby Tonn will have strengths of his own and carry his weight in the future!!! That is want team is all about! Ethan actually did a lot more work, so he was carrying me as well!!! Sheesh...this was a good one!
