It is so important to constantly challenge ourselves physically. We are people wanting to influence each other and others we meet along the way.
This is where we can get workouts for the day, track your times, pr's, ask and reply to questions and comments.

This is also where we will share what events we are participating in and opening them up to the rest of the team to take part in.

March is almost HERE!

Tuesday starts a new month....  MARCH!
March is a great month with lots going on- March Madness, warmer weather, St. Patrick's Day (you may need to come to Fox Lake for this), canoacopia/bike-o-rama, registering at your local CSAs for summer produce, and the start up for events!

We are participating in one event this month~

Fight for Air Climb- Milwaukee- March 19th

Some things to keep in mind are the other events that we are taking part in- the goal is possibly one per month.. Which have been scheduled through May and Toughmudder in July.  Come June it would be great to find something other than running- maybe a bi-athlon or a bike race.
REMEMBER-
Bring your friends along!  Or if you are interested in coming don't hesitate to ask!  I (val) am a little overwhelming, E would say I scare others at first, but I just get really excited to meet new people (or to see old friends in that case)!  It is awesome to see how many people have turned to events and look forward to them in the summer... such an inspiring thing- so be influencial on those around you!  View it as a time to socialize and get out and have fun with a couple other thousand people for some of these events...

If you have trouble signing up for events under our team-  ANYthing Once
here is who you should talk to:
Lung Climb- Tara R
Toughmudder-  TB
Crazylegs- individual
Cellcom Half- individual~  unless you have signed up previously, this race is now closed for registration.

Happy Sunday!  Having a ROAD TRIP starting tomorrow 8am- will be working out on the beach come Tuesday-  Thinking this may be the last whoRA for my 20's with everything going on in our lives.. so no better time than the present- right!  E is watching the animals and working hard... how lucky am I!!

Here is to another great week of pushing yourself and working on your fitness!

Saturday Pears

Well...Another week down!  Val ~ Great job on yesterdays workout...You were right to use no momentum for the shoulder press...Goodmornings were very tough for the last couple sets...Feeling it today!

Randy would be a tough one w/o boxes to touch the bar to...otherwise it is a bit to low...Great Work!!!!

Today is with partners...

Warm-Up on your own!

Opposing Ladders (from Practice Crossfit)
Grab a partner...
10-1 & 1-10 of the following:

Swings (55#)
HSPU
Burpees
Wall Ball

One partner starts with 10, the other with 1 of the exercise, then 9 & 2,8 & 3 and so on...until the first person reaches 1 and the second partner reaches 10.  After the first exercise is finished, move on to the next going the opposite direction (if you ended with 1...start you next exercise with 1...ended with 10...

Tough WOD

Hepp & Syd = 38:03
tb & Reeder = 38:39

HSPU were BRUTAL!!!!
Hepp & tb started swings & Burpees @ 10
Syd & Reeder started HSPU & Wall Ball @ 10...definitely the tougher way...finishing 10 swings going into 10 HSPU, finishing 10 Burpees going into 10 Wall ball!

SNOW DAY

We had a snow day in Wisconsin Rapids today... Actually all of Central Wisconsin had a snow day...

What popped up on CFJAX? A strength WOD!  Bertagnolski's arch enemy...  We caved, gave in, granted Jacob his wish and performed a different WOD... Never fear, there will still be a strength day this week, maybe two...we will see...

Warm Up: 2 Min of SDLHP w/ 35#
Burgener Warm-Up w/ 45# bar
2 Rnds ~ 10 Burpees & 10 Jumping Pull Ups

Bertagnoli's Wish
AMRAP for 20 Min (Practice CF):
50 Air Squats
12 Deadlift (155#)
9 Hang Power Cleans (155#)
6 Push Jerk (155#)
*everytime you put the bar down during your 12, 9, 6, you will owe 2 Burpees before starting the next round!  So, if you put the bar down after 12 then after 9 you will owe 4 burpees before beginning the 50 air squats...The goal is to do 12, 9, 6 unbroken...I do not believe ANYone achieved this today!

This was quite a WOD... Calling 50 Air Squats Rest is an oxymoron...but it was the only rest possible!
Hansen & Jacob really got after it!!! The rest of us just hope to be like them!!!

El Tigre ~ 4 Rnds + 25 Air Squats
Britt ~ 4 Rnds + 30 Air Squats (135#)

Pages-

Upcoming runs have been added to the TRY ANYthing page and from there you are able to go and post comments/additions/anything else you would like to add on the What is really goin on...  We are still getting groups together and setting events on facebook but if you are not a part of facebook include yourself on here..  They are pretty near identical.  But the most recent ones will be the Climb in Milwaukee and Crazylegs at the end of April in Madison.

I am hoping we can at least stick with Jigsaw in May that has become a tradition for some of us- Can two years make it a tradition??  Not sure, but I would like to think it is special one.

Hope everyone is well and working hard- at whatever they may be doing!!

Event Additions!

So! With the Great White coming (apparently) it may seem like winter will never be over but it most definitely will.. and soon hopefully. Some things to make time for- setting goals, finding weaknesses to work on, and maybe writing in some dates on your calendars for some ANYthing Once quality time!

I am going to get back to what my goal was a year back by running at least one half marathon/season with other various events- Love trail running but this one is special to me since one of my friends has made it her goal to run a half and this will be her first... AND why not have it be your first with the PACKERS rockin it all the way to the Superbowl this year.
Sunday, May 15th will be Cellcom's Half Marathon in Green Bay- the finish line is running into Lambeau. I would say it may be as great as running into Camp Randall, but I think it will be better! IF you are interested- jump on the bus fast they are almost at capacity!  You will not be signing up with a team for this event... but I will be glad to give you a high five a the starting and finish line!

WOW...Feb. Already
