Never forget is to cliche...time passes and we do forget, put things in the past... It is human nature. 
It's not that we should never forget, it is the fact that we must live each day remembering to BE GOOD / DO GOOD! Live your life right...never let the negative/evil overcome you so much that you are in despair!
As Jeremy put it in his WOD blog for the day:
